Portrait of dragon kind

This piece visualizes a humanoid form of a dragon—where mythical power meets human charisma. The core design concept was to express the tension between human skin and dragon scales, using their junctions as focal points. Glowing light seeps through the gaps between scales, hinting at the immense, untamed energy coursing just beneath the surface.

Rather than depicting a full transformation, I focused on creating a hybrid identity—where the character is both grounded and supernatural. The horns, radiant markings, and reptilian patterns serve as anchors to his draconic lineage, while the confident expression and pirate-like styling add a modern, character-driven twist.

This design was also an exploration of material contrast—soft flesh against hardened scale—and how light can be used to narrate hidden power within a character.
